This was a highly anticipated book for me. One that I have been looking forward to, since Elisabeth's first book in the series, MARKED.

Orpheus is one of those characters that just call to me. He is elusive--a mysterious loner who has a hidden agenda. He is a multi-layered diamond in the rough. And can I mention, he is just sexy as hell?
Naughton's ETERNAL GUARDIAN series is just the kind of book I love to read. One with mythological heroes and a strong world building foundation that has oodles of potential. There are Alpha heroes with a soul-wrenching painful past. The heroines are strong women who love their men and have secret powers of their own. Annnd the big, bad, demons that continue to prey on the humans and fight the Argonauts. Did I mention how gruesomely fugly these demons are? Just, ewww.
ENRAPTURED starts with Orpheus fighting to save the life of his brother, Gryphon, from the underworld.
The heroine, Skyla, is a two thousand year old siren sent by Zeus to seduce Orpheus, get the magical talisman, and kill Orpheus. There is only one big problem.
Skyla and Orpheus have a strong sexual chemistry and a mysterious past.
Cue the Jaws theme music and ta-da--you have one helluva story. Twists, turns, action, drama, and SMEXY times that singe the pages of the book.
Fans of the ETERNAL GUARDIANS will love Orpheus's story and will be anxiously awaiting ENSLAVED--where the series continues with Gryphon...to be released in November.

You had me with Alpha Male Hero. OMG this series sounds so good. My kind of book a paranormal with a Alpha male hero with a painful past. Plus they have a past together and he can not remember. Sounds interesting. Checking this series out. Thank you for your great review.
