LUCKY IN LOVE ~ BLOG TOUR WITH JILL SHALVIS

Hello and Welcome to WHERE'S MY MUSE? I am so damn excited about this blog tour. Jill Shalvis has been an auto-buy for me for quite a few years now. She has the perfect recipe for the perfect romance--humor, great characters, sizzling chemistry and a touch of tenderness that warms even the hardest of hearts. The Lucky Harbor Series is a great example of just how talented Jill is--and a MUST for all fans of this genre.

FOREVER ROMANCE
presents the
OFFICIAL 'LUCKY IN LOVE' BLOG TOUR

First off, let's start off with just a few questions for Jill. And just an FYI--back off ladies, Ford is ALL MINE :)

1. Name the last three books you've read.

Redwood Bend by Robyn Carr, New York To Dallas by JD Robb, Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich.

2. What fictional Hero makes you swoon just hearing his name?

Ranger. Roarke … it’s a tie.

OMG---you can limit it to just two? I wouldn't know when to stop...Bones, Lothaire, Acheron, Sam Starrett, Vicious....you can stop me anytime, lol.

3. If you could only save one book from your 'library', what would it be?

OMG, I can’t pick just one!!! I’d die in the fire or whatever was the disaster because I’m be in the aisle sobbing, unable to pick one.

I am sooo with you there. Right now, I am in the process of moving and packing up things for storage while my house is on the market. And all I could think was "What do you mean, I have to pack up all my books?!!!! What if there's a fire?"  ACK...."They can't go in the attic; It's too hot in there for my precious babies."  I guess there is a good example of why a kindle IS a good thing--only one to carry, versus 300+.

Mallory Quinn has had enough of playing it safe. As a nurse and devoted daughter, she takes care of everyone but herself. And as the local good girl, she's expected to date Mr. Right. But for once, she'd like to take a risk on Mr. Wrong. And who could be more wrong than Ty Garrison? The mysterious new guy in town has made it clear that he's only passing through, which suits Mallory just fine. Besides, his lean, hard body and sexy smile will give her plenty to remember once he's gone . . .

For the first time in his life, Ty can't bear to leave. Helping this sexy seductress-in-training walk on the wild side is making him desire things he shouldn't including leaving the military for good. As their just-for-fun fling becomes something more, Mallory and Ty wonder if they could really be this lucky in love. After all . . . anything can happen in a town called Lucky Harbor.

  1. I have not read any of her books YET but I keep seeing them and really want to! At this point I don't really care which one they all sound terrific. My only requirement would be if it is part of a series, I would have to start at the beginning. I picky that way!

    1. Maria~ Thank you so much for stopping by...Jill Shalvis has a wicked sense of humor, and it shows in her stories. And I totally agree about starting at the beginning of a series. Her Lucky Harbor Series is great, (duh), but I also love her Animal series. The first book I read that got me interested in her, was Get A Clue, which is a Stand Alone. If you look her up on goodreads, she has live 8 series out there to peruse :)

  2. What is my favorite? Oh my goddess! I have to choose? Shalvis hooked me immediately with the first three Lucky Harbor books. Then she further hooked me with the Animal books.. So really, I cannot choose one book!

It makes me so darn thankful that I won The Sweetest Thing last year. Because she became an automatic read! I love her humor.

    1. Di - Oh definitely try out Simply Irresistible. The back blurb did nothing to interest me; however when I won The Sweetest Thing, I bought Simply Irresistible so I could start the series. Made me so glad I did. There are some funny parts in Lucky Harbor... Another one I like is her Animal books.
