My L4C:

On a hot southern night, with a storm on the horizon, a family is shattered. Three beautiful daughters—Savannah, Samantha, and Sabrina Wilde—go on with their lives, each significantly changed, as they bear the memory of the murder-suicide that killed their parents. For years, they have stayed away from Midnight, Alabama. Until Midnight calls them home.

Savannah is the first one back, when a grueling case in Nashville leads the young prosecutor to seek shelter in the quiet of the once grand Wilde mansion. But when she finds letters casting doubt on her family’s dark, shameful past, she realizes that peace in Midnight is a shallow façade and sinister secrets lurk beneath the surface. Zach Tanner, once the town’s bad boy, is now the new police chief and still has a wild hold over her. Zach can feel it, too, but he hurt Savannah once. As teenagers, they broke every rule together. Now it’s his job to keep her safe, even though he isn’t sure who her enemies are, or which ones might be his own. All he knows is that they have only each other to face dangers they can’t see coming.

Why?
Well...for those of you who know and love me (hah), know how I cannot resist a man in uniform. (Okay, or out, either way--I'm good) This drool worthy cover with a half-nekked hero AND sporting dog tags just has me all a quiver. YUM. And look at those nice, veiny arms...I wanna lick 'em. Also, I go weak in the knees for big...hands. Sigh.  Cammo pants? Yeppers, I want them off.

Also, I'm a sucker for romantic suspense--I love fast-paced action, a bad guy wrecking havoc, and throw in a southern setting ~ I am so there.

Ella Grace, BTW, also writes under Christy Reece.

So share your L4C this week--I want to know!

  1. Thanks for participating in this week's L4C! :)

I'm with you--men in uniforms (or out, which is preferred...) make my heart flutter too. And my pulse jump. And..well, we all get the point. lol. :)

I haven't read any of her work (not even writing as Christy--shame on me!), but I've got them on my list. Now this one is going on, too. I guess that makes us even this week, right? You haven't read Morgan's books yet, I haven't read Reece's. :)

Thanks for sharing--this is a great cover, and I'll happily fight you for licking rights. LOL. :D

    Enjoy!

      Hey Lady!
I have a few of Christy's books in the 'ol TBR pile, but just haven't had a chance to get to them yet. Maybe if I stop requesting books from Net Galley, I may get to them sooner, lol :)
Net Galley is my heroine of choice :)
We can share licking rights...you take the top, I'll take the bottom, lol ;)
Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Why is that when I see that you've left me some comment love, I get all giddy? LOL.
Man, you are working on ANOTHER blog site? Woman, I bow to your greatness.
Being the sole person on this blog and trying to write on my manuscript, keep house, raise kiddos---ACK!! There is no way in hell I would even attempt that.
But I will go check it out. I read all sorts of genre, and have a weakness for YA romance :)
      Have a great week, woman!

    2. It is your stock-o-roxy. I am so scared I started a bigger project then I can handle. So far it is okay. I just felt wierd or something having YA books on Wickedly Delicious I love my yummy shirtless covers too much on my sight to have to get rid of and then put YA covers on their. I thought it would be easier for me. Ha..Ha I will let you know at the end of this week. I use to love reading YA books but then just stopped so it feels refreshing to read them again.
