With all the great releases out this month, which has been the one you have clicked up first, and which has surprised you the most?"
Answer: First off, ladies--Damn, you make me think too hard first thing in the morning. This requires my Goodreads account, since my memory is like Swiss cheese....
I'll start out with the easier of the two questions--The book that surprised me the most this month was Nexus by C.L. Parker. I did NOT expect the twist at the end **zips lips** and cried like crazy. She really wrung out all my emotions with her ending. Just--WOW! It is being released today BTW, so congrats, C.L.!!!!!
The One that I couldn't wait for....Run The Risk by Lori Foster. She is an auto-buy for me because I am almost NEVER disappointed in her books. She has such great characters that are sooooo lovable.
What about you? Please tell me -- I love to find out about books that I missed!
Ahhh Lori! She's an autobuy for me too. She's got the best heroes and her heroines are just as wonderful. Loved this one.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of CL Parker. I do love a good twist. Just read a book that had me a blubbering mess so think I'll hold off on this one. A girl can only bawl so much! ;)

I so agree w/ you in regards to Lori--I have loved her since reading Simon Says...YUM!
C.L. is an almost new author (lol)--who is also my bff. She has a trilogy in the paranormal genre. I have been with her since the conception of her story and Nexus (book three) was awesome. I plan to host and post my review here Oct 1. She writes a spicy story.
If you do check her out, please let me know. I'd love to hear your thoughts! (and so would she). She is going to be at Scarefest this weekend in Louisville, KY.
