Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine.
My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession...
Reflected In You is the continuing story of Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell. And it is as delicious and addictive as the first book, Bared To You.
Gideon Cross is a supremely dominant, smexy man that knows how to rock a suit and then some. He is literally fucked up, knows his flaws, and makes no apologies.
He has never had a serious relationship until he meets Eva Tramell.
Eva has her own dark secrets. Secrets she has shared with Gideon Cross- her new lover-even though he has not come clean about his dark and haunting past.
These two individuals collide with an explosive force in Bared To You and continue to struggle in their not so normal relationship.
But who are we to judge what exactly NORMAL is?
Cross is a sometimes a deeply disturbing character that I can't seem to get enough of. Even in all of his fuckery, his jealous rages, his twisted taste in sex, I want more. I have to read. I have to know what happened in his past that makes him the man he is today. He is such a complex character that is severely flawed but Sylvia writes him in such a way that I am a goner. I feel for him. And when his dark secret is finally revealed, my heart literally stopped. It broke. I cried.
Sylvia wrings out all sorts of emotions in me as I read this story. And it is one hell of a ride.
With a startling twist of events at the conclusion of this story, the reader is left wondering AGAIN, if their tumultuous relationship can remain intact.

DeleteGideon Cross is hands down way hotter, sexier, and darker than Christian Gray, IMHO.
