The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work?
First, leave your name on either Parajunkee's or Alison Can Read posts using their linky too. Next, create a post on your own blog that links back to their post (you only need to link to ONE post, not both). Copy and paste the FEATURE AND FOLLOW button to your post on your blog. Last, visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our FEATURE. Each week we will showcase TWO FEATURED BLOGGERs ~ ones from all different genres and areas. REMEMBER ~ IT IS REQUIRED TO FOLLOW BOTH FEATURED BLOGS AS WELL AS THE TWO HOST BLOGS ( Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) as a courtesy.
Today's FEATURED BLOGS:
Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
Hmm...this is a toughie for me. As long as a book has a gripping plot with believable characters, I will read it. I do shy away from historical romance and I haven't read any books from the zombie genre. I dunno--something about them grosses me out, and their rotting flesh, and how certain parts should NEVER fall off...
What about you? What genre will you avoid like the plague?
haha that's exactly why I'm scared of zombies. they're just so disgusting (plus I don't wanna be eaten alive).
ReplyDeleteanyway, love historical romances. regency is one of my favorites

Ning...yeah, that the kind of eating that I don't enjoy, lol.
DeleteI do read some historical romance-and I used to read them ALL THE TIME--hell, I was weaned on Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, Jude Deveraux, and Johanna Lindsay...but I don't typically seek this type of book out...unless I get a ton of positive feedback about a certain book.
The only zombie book I read was by Mark Henry. It was all right, the zombie wasn't totally decomposing. But yeah, traditional zombies? No thanks, the whole BRAIIIIINNNSSSS thing grosses me out!
