This week's question:

"What is your take on anthologies? Love them? Hate them? And what is the last anthology you've read and enjoyed?"

Well, Hell--somehow the day got ahead of me and left me in a cloud of dust. So my posting is a wee bit late.
My bad.

I had to look at my Goodreads account to see what I read last that was an anthology:

'

I typically don't purchase them-but if it's a fave author, like Lori Foster, I will pick them up.

In fact, today I bought this book:

Why? Well, it has 2 of my fave authors:  Jill Shalvis and Roxanne St. Claire. Can't go wrong with those 2 ladies.  Also, I am a sucker for Ireland.

This little goodie is still in my TBR pile and hopefully, I'll be able to get to it soon:

What about you?

I'd love to hear your comments about anthologies.

  1. Gah, Lori Foster is on my "To Read" list, what kind of stories does she write?

    1. Adria-LURVE Lori Foster-she has a ton of books. You should check out her website.
Lori writes contemporary romance and romantic suspense. Her older books about fighers is an old fave of mine. Also her Men on the Edge of Honor (more recent release) is a great Romantic Suspense trilogy.
Let me know what you decide to read :)

  2. LOL. Glad I'm not the only one the day got away from :)

Lori is one of my favorites in anthologies! I love that her couples have usually known each other for a while before the story starts up so they don't have that insta-lust/love thing that drives me crazy :)

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Anna~ I loathe instant lust and am reading a paranormal erotic book that has that. It comes across as cheesy. UGH.
Sometimes it works and other times it fails miserably.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

  3. I really enjoy anthologies - You get to the HEA that much quicker & I love trying new authors that way.

thanks for stopping by and commenting. Love an HEA but sometimes, the anthologies lack the "meat" that I crave for a deep, deep, story.
But then sometimes, a quickie is great, lol!
