And to top it all off--Murphy's Law, unwanted house guest that he is--has decided that I needed a wake-up call this week. JEESH. Like I need yet another thing thown on my plate. My house is not decorated, the hubby is out of town, I am way behind on my word-count for my manuscript---and I now have a sick little one at home who smells like vomit. UGH!
Oh, did I mention that I have lost my liscense? And have driven numerous times praying Hail Mary's and I'm not even Catholic? Even across state lines, people. Please, Please, Please, Mr. Police Man, just let me get past the holidays, and I promise I will swing by and get another one. SWEAR. **crosses fingers that I can just apply for a secondary copy via internet.
So, with all that going on in my life---I still have a hankerin' for some the upcoming new releases that come out today. **Kissing my Kindle right now, because I can't leave the house with a sick kid.
Congrats to all the authors and Happy READING!!
I have to wait until after the holidays to buy new books. I justified Head Over Heels by Shalvis because I NEEDED that. Been feeling really low and Shalvis always makes me smile. I was tickled when I won Ione's book. So any others would have to wait.
ReplyDeleteI justify all the books I buy as a MUST HAVE--I am soooo weak. And Jill Shalvis is an author that makes me laugh, too. I love reading her blog.
ReplyDeleteSending you happy thoughts over the holidays-I am in panic mode right now with all I have to do. Thanks for stopping by.
