AUTHOR OF THE MONTH ~ CYNTHIA EDEN

Cynthia Eden is a national best-selling author of paranormal romance and romantic suspense novels. Her books have received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly, and her novel, DEADLY FEAR, was named a RITA® finalist for best romantic suspense.

Cynthia is a southern girl who loves horror movies, chocolate, and happy endings. She has always wanted to write (don’t most authors say that?), and particularly enjoys creating stories about monsters–vampires, werewolves, and even the real-life monsters that populate her romantic suspense stories.

Cynthia’s foreign sales for her books include translations to Japan, Germany, Thailand, and Brazil.

(Back in the day…) Cynthia graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama where she studied Sociology (because people interest her) and Communication (because she likes to write about said people). Cynthia has worked as a college admissions counselor, a teacher, and as an editor. But now, Cynthia is thrilled to be spending her days making up stories.

I fell in love with Cynthia's books while reading her DEADLY series. They are hot romantic suspense with gripping action and tantalizing smexy men that will make you swoon.

Now, I am trying to play catch-up on another one of her series--BOUND--that are about Vamps and Weres.  Cynthia has a special talent for writing such amazing paranormal stories....

And as of April 30th,  BOUND BY THE NIGHT, Book 4 of this awesome series, is available.

Here is a blurb of her newest release:

For the last fifteen years, vampire queen Iona has been dead to the world. Trapped under the power of a brutal curse, she has been helpless. A prisoner, locked within her own still body. Then alpha werewolf Jamie O’Connell fights his way to her side. After defeating the guards that surround her, Jamie gives Iona his blood…and she rises.

The world has changed a great deal in the last fifteen years, and Iona has changed, too. Once known as the Blood Queen because of her dark reputation, she now finds herself longing for the blood of only one man…only he isn’t just a man. She wants the blood of her werewolf—Jamie’s blood. But Iona doesn’t realize that Jamie has been keeping secrets from her. Very dark, dangerous secrets. And Iona may have traded one curse for another.

Now that he has Iona, Jamie vows to never let her go. He needs his Blood Queen in order to defeat his enemy, he needs her to make his own beast stronger, and…he just needs her. Jamie has risked his life to claim Iona, and he won’t let anything break their bond. Not time. Not spells. Not even a wild and reckless vampire queen…

Cynthia is great for romantic suspense...and if you like her books, you would love Roxanne St. Claire. :P
      Thanks for commenting, love :)

  4. I had read Roxanne St. Claire and loved Kill Me Twice and read Edge of Sight and Loved it. I loved the characters and the supense and the romance a very good blend. But had a hard time with Shiver of Fear. The suspense was good but I need a strong (prefer Alpha Male)and I did not feel the romance for these two. So I never went back to read any other in both series. It is hard to find a good Supense Romance. Sometimes the romance just does not play a big part or their is no emotional conection between the characters and it is more supense. I need a good blend. Throwing in a few sex scenes just is not the same I want the build up and the affection but give them the action and supense too. What is your thought should I give both series another go. Maybe that day I was just not into Suspense. Some days I really think it is how I feel. Some days I just need a good erotic, or a paranormal or a good in your face Alpha male and so on.

      Hey sweetie boo!!!
I am a bit behind in Roxanne's books especially her Bullet Catchers series. I have only read up to book #5...but I tell ya, book 3 was my fave of that series...(Take Me Tonight) What Johnnie CHristiano does with a cannoli in that book had me sweating, lol.
I admit, I have also only read book one, Edge of Sight of that series....I DID just finish her newest, Barefoot in the Sand, and I thought it was great. Great chemistry between H/h...
I agree about the sex scenes...I need plot, a strong male and female...and action outside the bedroom. I love to be kept guessing who the baddie is in Suspense books.
Sorry I coulnd't help regarding whether continuing with both series; I will read them, just don't know when I'll get to them :)

I WILL suggest Jeanine Frost if you have not read her, and her Night Huntress series. Bones is one Alpha Smexy man that makes MY bones melt.
Hope you have a great weekend, boo! I always look forward to your funny and much loved comments.
