This week's question:

What books have recently made you cry?

Wow--I must be a cold hearted bitch--can't remember the last book, so I had to look at my read books over at Goodreads. I think it was Born to Darkness by Suzanne Brockmann. But it wasn't a sob fest, just a touching moment that had me all emo for a few minutes. Looking further back, I discovered Cold Kiss by Amy Garvey--a young adult book that I did cry out loud while reading the ending. And then after that, Kresley Cole's Dreams of a Dark Warrior was a tear jerker as well. (both read in Dec 2011)

What about you ?

  1. I haven't read any of those. But they are on my TBR list. Lol @ cold hearted bitch... I thought I was like that too. It took me a min to figure out which books made me cry so I went through the ones I read earlier this year. And they weren't sob fests but a tear here and there.

    1. Sharonda ~ Thanks---I thought that Dreams was a great pre-read for Lothair's book. It wowed me and made me realize just how much I love and adore this series.

  3. hmm I haven't read the other two, but I love Cole's IAD series, but I wasn't a big fan of Regin's book. Aidan was way too much of an ass to Regin that I just couldn't get over it. The one I cried had to be Malcolm's book. That one I loved lol

    1. Ning! I agree that it was hard at times to read how hateful Aidan was--but I thought that Cole did an okay job swinging me toward forgiveness. Which one was Malcom's book? Can't remember...
Lothaire still is tops for me.

    1. I think my hubby thinks that statement is sometimes true--don't come between me and my book, lol.
Cold Kiss is a young adult book about a girl with witchcraft in her and the women in her family. She brings back her boyfriend from the dead after he dies unexpectedly in a car crash...

  6. Ha! I don't cry that much either, but I read Beloved Vampire by Joey W. Hill and I burst out in tears all the way through the book. It was a really awesome book though.

    1. Dreams was just hard to read as Aiden really loathed anyone in the Lore--he treated Regan really bad. But I don't think I cried...although I thought it was one of her better books.
