Question of the Week: This week's question comes courtesy of Shannon from Cocktails and Books. Which song reminds you of a favorite book or character?
Actually, I have a band that reminds me of a book series. And it's all Olivia Cunning's fault. LOL.
Seriously, I am glad that she has turned me on to this kick-ass band, they so rock me on a regular basis. I turn up their CD in the car and bang on the steering wheel like the superb drummer (hah) that I am. 
The book series I am talking about is Olivia Cunning's Sinners On Tour...Sed, Brian, Jace, Eric, and Trey.
Olivia's books should come with heat index advisory--I swear, I have never blushed so damn much reading a book, nor laughed my ass off so hard. I have 'pimped' the hell out of this series to all those near and dear friends that have my similar snarky tastes in fiction. And not one person has told me, "Meh, it was just okay." All responses have been just as stoked as my own--"I want more!"
I was hooked from the beginning and sat in one spot until the last page was done. Now, I am wishing my life away for November--when Double Time will be released. I am not above parking my fat ass at Olivia's house begging for pages...it that that freaking good!

With the first wail of the guitar, the raspy yell of the lead singer, I imagine Avenged Sevenfold as the members of Cunning's fictional band. They even resemble how I picture her characters. And truly, what is not to love about a sexy tatted rock star?
And when I read these books (or re-read them as I have shamelessly done), I hear A7X in the background and I am in my happy place.
