Q: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character name you've come across?

A:  Hmm...I must admit, I do love unique names, but not something so unique that it sounds ridiculous. Right now, I am outlining my first erotic BDSM story and the main character's name is Nash. I knew it the first time I said it out loud that my hero HAD to be called Nash. My Heroine is yet unnamed. When picking names, I let the character pick his or her name-it has to feel right.

The most unique name I have seen goes to Stephanie Tyler's Renessme...different, yet I thought it fit the character. I know a lot of peeps didn't care for it, but I thought it was pretty different without sounding too ridiculous.

I also thought JR Ward did a fantastic job in picking out her BDB character's names:

Zsadist

Phury

Tohrment

Rehvenge

Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?

A:I would rather read my fave book over and over again. There is too much precious time to waste on a book that does nothing for me.

Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kick ass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

Most of my fave books have a kick-ass heroine--

....but it's NOT a requirement....

Stephanie Plum isn't what I would call kick-ass; she's just one lucky beeotch to be sandwiched between her two men...Range....sigh...MUST SEE MOVIE!

As far as the hero? I am drawn to a strong man-physically as well as emotionally. Let me set the record straight--I am not a fan of the Bully. That just doesn't do it for me. But yeah, I love a bit of dominance in my man, er...hero.

Q: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.

I am a HUGE music HOOR and listen to all types, depending on my mood. Right now Avenged Sevenfold owns me. Thanks to the author, Olivia Cunning, I love and adore them. They are my weakness, and listen to them--frequently. The thing that I love is that their style is ever changing. They mainly rock-and do it damn good, I might add--but they can slow it down and it still ROCKS!  Listen to the song, So Far Away--LOVE IT.

Q: The New Year is here — and everyone wants to know your New Years Blogging Resolution! What are you going to try to revise, revamp and redo for 2012 on your blog?

My main goal is to be more organized-and keep up with my blog. I have found several sites that have fallen down on their updates--and I don't want to do that.  However, I am juggling a shit-ton of balls right now...and NOT the good kind (snicker).

I keep a calender by my laptop and write out what is coming up as far as reviews, giveaways, hops, and tours.

I also have been trying to do a little something different every week on my blog. I surf a ton of other book blog sites to see what others are doing ~ but I also want to try to be original in some things. Something that makes my blog a bit unique.

I am not computer savvy; I don't know all the ins and outs of coding in html or other fancy things that are on professionally designed sites. So, I have to get and be creative. 


I am doing this all on my own--but I have found a great many cyber friends out there that have offered feedback and for that I am grateful.

Answer:
I am shocked--I have 355 in my closet--that I haven't even read. And I didn't bother to look on my kindle. ACK...my addiction is a bit obsessive, no?
